I made this shape board for Micah awhile ago after seeing the idea on another website. He's doing really well naming the shapes and colors.

Gideon, 3 months old. Quite smiley and chatty these days.

Micah, 2 1/2.  He's singing songs and practicing Bible verses, playing with trains, loves puzzles, getting into things, and an all-around joy of a kid.  

Noah's boat

We're reading through The Jesus storybook Bible with Micah.  We were reviewing the last story about Noah and asked Micah who Noah was and he responded with "boat, purple boat". Wondering about a purple boat, we looked back in the book and sure enough the picture of the ark, it's colored purple.  Man, he's observant!

Meanwhile, Gideon is a happy little guy and smiles a lot and coos at us. 

Curvy

So, here I go again at a photo a day challenge. I hope to capture sweet moments that I don't want to forget.

So, for curvy, here's this sleeper's cute face.

Gideon gave us his first smile, at least the one I knew was in response to me and not just gas or something.  I got some happy coos too.  Micah has started sometimes mimicking Gideon when he's crying.  Hopefully, he'll copy the happy sounds too.   

We also had a visit from brother Mark and family.  The kids had a great time at the playground and Micah loves the old caboose.

We had a great time at the beach with the Kilby family.  Micah loves the sand and swimming in the water.

Us as a family of 4

We're settling in to what John refers to as the "new normal."  I told a friend that I'd come meet her but would have both boys with me.  That gave me pause as I thought of the responsibility that is ours for two precious little boys.  By God's grace...
