Colorful

So, this is what greeted us outside when we woke up this morning - gorgeous!

And this is how we spent part of the afternoon.

And, tonight Micah had a really good time with a bubble bath.  Doesn't really fit the colorful theme but he's super cute!

Looking Down

John bought a bag of S'mores goldfish for me the other day- they are delicious with chocolate and graham fish and mini marshmallows.  Micah got the bag out of the pantry as he tends to do to help himself to various snacks.  I looked over to see that he had dumped a bunch out onto the floor and then proceeded to eat only the marshmallows out of the mix.  Yes, I guess he's my son :)   Eating crackers off the floor aside, it was pretty comical and he did end up eating the actual crackers also.

Looking Up

One of the shelves in Micah's room has these six sailor guys all lined up.  We received these from John's great aunt and uncle who got them somewhere during their travels around the world at some point.  I'm a little bummed that we don't know the story behind them but they're still cool.

In other Micah news, he's putting words together into "sentences." It took me awhile but I finally understand that "choo choo cuck" is train track, and this morning he kept telling me about "Daddy's shoes" and wanted to wear them and tried to carry one John's sneakers outside with him.  "Oh no" is another favorite phrase, sometimes even when there's no reason to "oh no," but he sure is cute when he gets his lips puckered!   He loves to walk through the snow and tries to every chance he gets.

Smile

Some friends were over this morning so we built snowmen with the kids- indoor ones, since it was 19 degrees outside!  These made me smile.  I ran out of face space to actually make a smile on him.

Micah has decided that he not only likes to push his dump truck or load and dump it, but that it makes a great "creeper" to carry him. And around the house he goes....
